ABOUT ME

Although much of my current work is digital, I have a strong foundation in traditional mediums with a fine arts background. Digital illustration has allowed me to be more experimental and graphic with my storytelling. I believe that art is a universal language that has the power to resonate with diverse audiences. Through practice and revision, I aim to achieve fluency in that language and become a visual storyteller.

Although I currently study biology and computer science at Duke University, I keep my passion for the arts alive through the duArts community. As a vice president of design for duArts, I create resources that advertise and celebrate the diverse artistic organizations on campus. In addition, this summer, I will be the visual arts leader for Project Arts, a pre-orientation program that introduces incoming Duke first-years to the arts. Post-graduation, I plan to obtain a graduate degree in medical illustration.
